REFUND & RETURN POLICY

At Clay Peace, we take great pride in the quality of our ceramic tableware and ensure every order is carefully packed before dispatch. Please read our policy carefully before placing an order.


1. GENERAL POLICY

All sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect selection, or if you simply no longer want the item. We strongly recommend reviewing all product photos, dimensions, and descriptions carefully before purchasing.


2. DAMAGED OR BROKEN ON DELIVERY

We pack every order with bubble wrap and double-wall corrugated boxes. However, if your product arrives damaged or broken due to transit, we will replace it or issue a full refund.

To be eligible for a damage claim, ALL of the following conditions must be met:

✦ You must record a clear, continuous, uninterrupted unboxing video starting from the sealed, unopened package through to fully opening it. This video is mandatory and non-negotiable. Claims without an unboxing video will not be accepted under any  circumstances.
✦ The claim must be raised within 48 hours of delivery. Claims raised after 48 hours will not be accepted.
✦ Email us at hello@claypeace.com with:
  - Your order number
  - The unboxing video
  - Clear photos of the damaged product
  - Photo of the outer packaging/box

Once verified, we will process a replacement or full refund within 5-7 business days.


3. WRONG ITEM RECEIVED

We carefully verify every order before dispatch. However, if you believe you have received a wrong item, the following strict verification process applies:

To be eligible, ALL of the following must be submitted:

✦ A clear, continuous, uninterrupted unboxing video showing the sealed package being opened — this is mandatory without exception.
✦ A photo or video showing the shipping label and the received item together in the same frame.
✦ The claim must be raised within 48 hours of delivery.
✦ Email us at hello@claypeace.com with your order number, unboxing video, and the above photos.

Claims submitted without an unboxing video or after 48 hours will not be entertained. Clay Peace reserves the right to reject claims that cannot be verified through the above process.

Once verified, we will dispatch the correct item at no additional cost within 5-7 business days.


4. NON-RETURNABLE & NON-REFUNDABLE SITUATIONS

The following situations are strictly not eligible for return, 
replacement, or refund:

✦ Change of mind or accidental order
✦ Product not matching personal expectation of color, size, or finish (minor variations are natural in handcrafted ceramics)
✦ Damage caused after delivery due to improper handling, dropping, or misuse
✦ Claims raised after 48 hours of delivery
✦ Claims submitted without an unboxing video
✦ Items that have been used, washed, or altered


5. NATURAL VARIATIONS IN CERAMIC PRODUCTS

All Clay Peace products are ceramic and may have minor variations in color, texture, glaze, or finish. These are not defects — they are natural characteristics of ceramic tableware and are not grounds for return or refund.


6. ORDER CANCELLATION

Orders can be cancelled only before they are dispatched. Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled. To request a cancellation, contact us immediately at hello@claypeace.com with your order number.


7. REFUND PROCESS

Approved refunds will be credited to your original payment method within 5-7 business days after verification. Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the error was on our part.
